I arrive late to a math class, from which I have been absent for some days. I sit down next to my friend, who is looking through a sheaf of photocopies. He informs me that it's a packet of worksheets that has just been distributed, which we are required to buy. I glance at the top page, filled with differential equations, and realize that I am extremely lost and that I have lost all interest in math.
